Our sole aim is to minister life to the church through praise and worship, to edify, change lives and draw souls to the Saviour by Spirit-inspired songs

Ushering

We are heavenly-minded people committed to making heaven. As door-keepers who meet and greet people coming into the church, we are God’s public relations officers and we represent the church to every visitor and member. We believe that ushers are never given a second time to make a first positive impression.

Follow-up

This is a team of people who are the first point of actual personal contact with the church’s guests and newcomers. We introduced them to our programmes and services. We also extend our hospitality the more to them by giving them attractive welcome packs.

Sunday school

The Sunday school department of the church is a group of people who have given themselves to the study of the word of God and having been fed, become a conduit through which the word of God is conveyed to His church during Sunday school.

Media and Publicity

‘The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that publish it’ Psalm 68:11.
The above stated verse of the scripture is our watchword in the Media and Publicity department. We help in the church’s performance of the kingdom assignments through audio-visual (sight and sound) portrayal of events as they unravelled.

Evangelism

We are basically charged with seeking out lost souls. Our main target is to win souls for Christ and make disciples of them as was commanded in Mat.28:18-20. Therefore, in order to achieve this, we employ many strategies such as;  sharing tracts, using megaphones and through social media platforms.

Prayer

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not to faint” Luke18:1. From the above quote, we believe what the Bible says about the importance of prayer. The Prayer unit is the engine room of the church.

Church Care/Sanitation

The unit is responsible for upholding hygienic and healthy environments in the church through measures such as:

• Mopping of the floors.
• Sweeping of the church premises.
• Putting the toilets in hygienic conditions.
• Decorating of the church premises.

House Fellowship

Home Church is the nearest church to you that you would be able to access and interact with at the grassroots level. It encourages one on one interaction among members.

Children’s church

We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a children’s ministry program. The need for this program is evident in that many young people reach adulthood and decide not to follow Christ. They had not been prepared to accept him as their Savior. One reason for this is that some churches do not have an effective ministry to children — do not have a program to help them receive Jesus into their lives. Hence, if we are to have a healthy future, it is essential that we have a viable children’s ministry.

New Believers’ Department/ Baptismal Class

Imagine that you’re about to be a parent; in 9 months you’ll have a child. You’re excited and scared and want to learn everything possible about parenthood. So you read books, decorate the nursery, ask people for advice and prepare for the big day.

When that day finally comes, you go to the hospital, and after many hours, the baby is born. High fives. Cheers. You call your family. And then you decide to leave the baby at the hospital.

If you did this, everyone would think you were crazy and a bad parent. Yet spiritually, we often have the same approach to new believers in Christ. We put so much energy into bringing them to Christ (praying for them, bringing them to evangelistic events, helping answer their questions), and then we stop. In a sense, we leave them at the nursery.

But when a person accepts Christ, our work is only just beginning. The first few years – and even the first 24 hours – are vital in establishing a new believer’s walk with the Lord.

The process of helping a new believer grow in his faith is often called “follow-up.” During this time, new believers can begin to grow in maturity and learn to become multiplying disciples – Christians who help others come to Christ and grow in their new faith
